a yearning for that type of oldschool grindcore that blended the extreme, fast and chaotic with
the crustpunk, D-beat and death metal lead to form Sickrecy. Formed in early 2020 the band is consisting of
band members from Damned to Downfall, World in Ruins, Birdflesh, General Surgery.
So to be short, we have here a nice grindcore with a metal taste…
Maybe I’m wrong but I hear here a strong influence of Napalm Death (late period).
Anyway, this buzzing mess has good riffs, speed, and sound. Blast beats sound is pretty old-fashion
(which I love very much), the guitar sounds dense and heavy. The songs are not boring, a couple of guitar solos
here and there creating nice variety. Strong and angry vocals/lyrics. Of course, every song is soaked with hate and
aggression. 10 songs of old-school grindcore that will twist and rip out your guts!
You know what to expect in terms of sheer anger, brute force, blasting speed and d-beat frenzy.
